What is the aim of your program?
 
 
The Foundation’s aim is to support and initiate grassroots sports development by means of empowering people though providing access to education, resources, facilities and equipment.
 
How many coaches/volunteers work for your program? How many coaches/volunteers will you be able to have attend a coaches across continents partnership program? NB. There must be male and female coaches
 
7 Coaches for our programme; At least 5 coaches (male and female) will be able to attend the partnership programme
 
What social problems does your program address? (e.g. health, conflict etc)
 
3 divided communities (black, colored, white)
Unemployment
Alcohol & drug abuse
Women and girls face various other social issues like teenage pregnancy, abuse etc.
 
 
Tell us some of the things that you would do in a normal soccer education session with the children?
 
 
  • Coaching of boys and girls in the age group of 6 to 19 years
  • 4 sport disciplines (football, netball, cricket and hockey)
  • Training on four days per week (2h) with games and tournaments
  • Coaching clinics taking place on weekends
  • 3 dedicated coaches and 6-7 international volunteers
  • Kind of “educational” program on Fridays (“adhoc-program” without a strategy)
