The support from Coaches across Continents: Our unique partnership with PLAY SOCCER influences lives throughout the world. Every child that attends a camp in the US has a direct effect on a child in Africa. In 2008, we were able to donate more than 6,000 pens and pencils from the PASS IT program. Coaches across Continents works directly with PLAY SOCCER coaches on curriculum development and coach training and PLAY SOCCER coaches are working in developing countries. We provide new leadership skills for children in New England and in 2009 the partnership will continue where children in the US can sponsor children in Africa and other developing regions.
The Success of the Program: In 2008, more than 50,000 children became part of the global partnership with PLAY SOCCER and became aware of the life styles of young people around the world. In 2009, PLAY SOCCER and Coaches across Continents will develop a US curriculum that provides the finest soccer training and a global education for all players.
