Company C.E.O. and Senior Consultant, Jon Conway has worked with sports governing bodies, leading clubs and sports development agencies in the USA and Europe and has developed events for some of the biggest names in sports including Adidas and UEFA.   He has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina (1995), a bachelor’s degree in Economic History from the University of Liverpool (1991) and holds the UEFA “A” soccer coaching license, awarded by the English Football Association in 1998. He is an accomplished coach education tutor with the Football Association and the Georgia State Soccer Association and has served as a region and state ODP coach. He was the soccer director for the YMCA of Cobb County from 2002 to 2005 and implemented a development program which resulted in a 30% growth in membership in three years leaving the YMCA program as the third largest club in Georgia with 2500 players. He was the football development officer for Leeds City Council between 1998 and 2002 leading FA coach education course delivery, serving as chairman of the Leeds Football Coaches Association, led FA initiatives in mini-soccer, child protection and Charter Standard club development. He also worked closely with Leeds United FC, developing the Leeds United Ability Counts Disability Football Club and leading Asian Inclusion Initiatives in partnership with the club. Previously he served as the Youth Sports Director for the Grand Strand Family YMCA in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from 1996 to 1997 and the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, from 1993 to 1995. During his tenure, Coastal won the 1995 Big South Conference Championship and reached the NCAA Division One Tournament. He is a former youth and reserve team player at Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers FC and is the son of Jim Conway, former Glasgow Celtic, Norwich City and Southend United player and Bolton Wanderers first team coach.
